3rd Graders attend a series of classes to learn the meaning of Holy Communion. They learn about the first Lord’s Supper and Passover, participate in a Seder meal and make their own chalices. Classes begin Sunday, February 11th. They will receive their first Holy Communion on Palm Sunday, March 25th. Please contact Nadine Anderson in the church office, 961-8747, if you have a child that you would like to have participate in the class.
6th , 7th and 8th graders participate in a program of learning, service and fun on Sunday afternoons. Materials covered are Luther’s Small Catechism as well as worship, service, faith, community building, gifts, and temptation. We also go to Luther Springs in the fall for a Confirmation Retreat.
