Dear People of Grace,

See you in Church this Sunday!  Yes, worship resumes in the Sanctuary.  One service

October 18th @ 10am!  The doors will be open, and in-house worship is “on” again!

Also…several families are traveling to Luther Springs this weekend for the Blessing and Dedication of a Memorial Prayer Garden in honor of Jill Lawniczak.  The actual time will be Saturday, Oct. 17 @ 2PM.  All members of Grace are invited and welcome to attend. You can come up just for the day, OR spend the entire weekend.  Make your reservations at:828-209-6301, cost of accommodations are: $40 per night, per family, $25 cleaning fee, $50 for food per person.  If you would like to go for the day and enjoy lunch and outdoor activities the cost would be $25 per person.  If you are unable to attend, you can watch the service online. The video will be posted hopefully later in the day on Saturday, Oct. 17.  Mark, Justin and Amanda Lawniczak will attend.

This coming Sunday, Teal Bags will be distributed for our next Food Drive.  Grace is partnering with LSF (Lutheran Services Florida) and Spirit FM 90.5 FM to sponsor the event.  Items needed are non-perishable food items, and personal hygiene items.  A representative from LSF – Ross Dietrich – will speak this Sunday, October 18 about the event.  Teal Bags will be handed out, and you can return them Sunday, October 25th – Reformation Sunday.  OR…bring them by Grace, the day of the drive Tuesday, October 27th between 12-6 PM.

The 50th Anniversary of Grace is fast approaching.  November 15th is the big day! The commemorative Cook Book should be ready by then. A Banner, commissioned for the day, will be dedicated during the service. The Commemorative Tree in Connections will unveiled and dedicated following the 10AM Service on the same day.  It promises to be a grand occasion.  The day will be live-streamed and recorded, so that it can be viewed online.

Finally – don’t forget to vote!

God’s grace & peace be with you all.
