Did you know, that the hymn “Amazing Grace” was written 250 years ago?! John Newton wrote the words as an act of repentance for being involved with the Slave Trade Industry in England. Marking the 250th anniversary of its writing, this year’s “Dinner Church” will make use of a series written by Michael Hoy published by “Creative Communications for the Parish”, connecting the words of this beloved song to our lives today. Those in the Bible who experienced the amazing grace of God, help us each week to realize that though we “once were blind, but now see” and how we can participate in God’s love at work in us, through our Savior’s death and resurrection.
Join us each Wednesday in Holmer Hall at 6:30pm, to enjoy table fellowship around a meal, and then focus on God’s “Amazing Grace”.
